This set contains dyes from two plants:
Rubia tinctorum: the rose madder or common madder or dyer's madder, is a herbaceous perennial plant species belonging to the bedstraw and coffee family Rubiaceae.
Rubia Cardifolia: known as Indian madder,is a species of flowering plant in the coffee family, Rubiaceae.
Please note that while our cotton is organic, this product does not currently carry the GOTS certification. Our natural dye house, which we have partnered with, is in the process of obtaining this certification. However, we assure you that no chemical dyes were used and the cotton grown is GOTS certified, and we hope this information provides you with assurance.
